NXF Slab Sponsorship Proposal

TL;DR:

Sponsorship proposal from the NXF Slab collective for one year (May 2024 - May 2025), requesting funds to:

  1. Fix the tow-in jetski;

  2. Fix the inflatable boat;

  3. Purchase new filming equipment;

  4. Budget to make gnarly edits, share on social media;

  5. Organize workshops in the local community to onboard new members on Gnars and teach them how to create NFTs on Zora.

ABOUT US

O NXF SLAB, is a team of Bodyboard and Surf athletes obsessed with big waves and their consequences, rewriting the history of Espírito Santo state, Brazil, in this scenario for several years. We have national and worldwide notoriety when it comes to these waves, especially regarding one of Brazil's biggest waves, AVALANCHE.

NXF TEAM

Our content production began with the emergence of Web 2.0, particularly on YouTube and Vimeo around 2005. Since then, our work has gained national and global recognition within the sport. We have had numerous appearances in newspapers, online articles, television programs, Surf and Bodyboard film festivals, and major niche media outlets worldwide.

The team consists of bodyboarders: Bernardo Nassar, Breno Kuster, Lucas Rocha, Carlos Bellumat, and André Majevski, and surfers: Luiz Hadad and Fabio Sandes.

We ventured into Web 3.0 around 2020, introduced to this new world by Luiz Hadad, who recently joined the team and had been involved in Web 3 since 2017.

We were sponsored by a protocol to create a collection of NFTs with the content we produced, host meetup events, develop the local community by onboarding practitioners and our followers, and spread Web 3 culture.

Currently, four team members are connected with the community, including the DAO-sponsored rider, Luiz Hadad: Bernardo Nassar, Lucas Rocha, and Carlos Bellumat.

Media returns will be concentrated on the team's Web 2.0 profiles, including shared posts and tags from @Gnarsdao, @Thatsgnarly, @Surfgurupro, and @Surfhive, reaching over 60k followers, in addition to the athletes' profiles. We plan to release:

image

  • 12 Gnarly reels during the year

  • 4 Gnarly videos for YouTube, in 16:9 format. The first will summarize the first half of the season, while the second will cover the second half/end of the Brazilian Slab season. And more 2 videos "Behind the scenes", talking about the season with the Gnars Sponsorship and showing the workshops making the onboards of new members and creating NFTs.

On Web 3.0, content production will focus on Bernardo Nassar's profile, who is currently the team's spokesperson. We will post on Surfhive, Warpcast, Zora, Discord, and provide feedback on the work's results. This includes:

Content production is ongoing, especially as the new season begins. Over the years, we have invested heavily in improving our wave riding, content quality, image, logistics, and distribution. We have purchased a flexboat, a Jet Ski, and numerous cameras during this time. However, our production is currently compromised due to a series of problems. The Jet Ski's engine is damaged, the boat's rear is compromised, and our filming equipment is malfunctioning due to prolonged use and exposure to harsh conditions.
