I am writing this proposal on behalf of Yan Felipe (Nogenta Skateboards)
My name is Yan Felipe, I'm 29 years old, I'm Brazilian and I live in the city of Rio de Janeiro. I've been skateboarding since I was 11 years old and to this day I've been developing my skateboarding skills in addition to being a skateboard filmmaker, taking the skatefilm culture even further to younger people and keeping the flame burning As a skateboarder, I've ridden for different brands in Brazil and abroad, such as Emerica Brasil, Cons Brasil Flow and several national brands. I have already published skate parts and short videos on several platforms such as Ridechannel, Redbull and other Brazilian media. As a filmmaker I already produce original videos through Nogenta skate, a skate crew from Rio de Janeiro that I produce and direct, I work with music artists and arts in general, always connecting skateboarding within these universes.
Nogenta Skate, is a skate crew from Rio de Janeiro where we produce films with political and social content just as skateboarding should be, created in 2018 we have been developing films, events and premieres in order to promote our scene through a common language between skaters and always trying to show our potential as producers and skaters in the city's underground scene. We have already produced dozens of films between skateboarding and political arts that we posted on our platforms and managed to reach a good audience that has been very important for our construction and continuation of our projects.
